Ultravox – The Collection – CD

Gli Ultravox sono una delle band che più influenzò il movimento inglese electro-pop dei primi anni ottanta. Dopo luscita dal gruppo del frontman John Foxx e la sua sostituzione con Midge Ure nel 1979, cantante e chitarrista, il gruppo sfoderò grandi successi commerciali, entrando per sette volte nella Top Ten Album e diciassette volte nella classifica Top 40 singoli del Regno Unito.

The Collection fu il primo greatest hits della band, pubblicato nel novembre 1984. Include tutti i quattordici singoli della band su etichetta Chrysalis dal 1980 al 1984, tra cui Loves Great Adventure. L’album raggiunse la seconda posizione nella classifica UK album, diventando il loro più alto album in classifica. Diventò inoltre anche il loro album più venduto, premiato platino dagli BPI per aver venduto 900 000 copie.
